A two-month voyage around the Land Down Under was terminated following the fatal incident of an senior woman who was stranded by the vessel on a remote coastal location.

The elderly woman had been walking on the tropical location with shipmates from the vessel, but separated from the party for a rest. The ship departed without her and went back after some time after the ship staff discovered the lady was unaccounted for.

A major search operation found her person the subsequent day.

Authorities are investigating the incident, together with law enforcement and the state coroner.

Chief Executive of the cruise operator said that passengers and staff on the Coral Adventurer were informed that the remainder of the cruise had been cancelled due to the "unfortunate death and previous engine troubles".
